La Belle Helene Print

A print of the 14 x 18" original hand-cut, painted, and layered paper artwork by Zoe of of a nude woman reclining on a couch with a red deer at her feet, surrounded by mythological creatures on a textured a textured semi-matte linen paper or a smooth 100% cotton hot press paper. The composition is a cut paper interpretation of Georges Barbier's 1922 illustration "La Belle Helene" based on Helen of Troy whose unparalleled beauty was a cause of the Trojan War.

All cut paper work is made by hand and is one-of-a-kind unique. Time invested in drawing the image, selecting paper colors, hand-cutting each piece, assembling, and gluing: 130 hours.
