Koi Kirigami

Original hand-cut and painted paper artwork of a koi fish in a pond. Kirigami is a Japanese art style of cutting a single piece of paper to create an image.

All product photos are taken in natural lighting to emphasize the color of the paper in the artwork. Glare, shadows, and reflections on glass are normal and expected in photos taken in natural light.

All cut paper work is made by hand and is one-of-a-kind unique. Time invested in drawing the image, selecting paper colors, hand-cutting each piece, assembling, and gluing: 5 hours.
